International Strategy and Security Minor

Students in other majors at Cal Maritime are welcome to complete a minor that involves completing at least 15 units of coursework (usually 5 classes) in our department. Please contact the ISS department chair, Dr. Wade at rwade@csum.edu for the most recent updates or if you are interested in adding a minor.

ISS Minor Required Courses:

GMA 415 - Strategy and War Lab Hours:
GMA 115 - Introduction to Security Studies Lab Hours:
One additional upper division (300 level or above) with an ISS (GMA) course code (3 units)

Elective Courses:

Any two additional 3-unit courses with a GMA course code (6 units). These can be either lower or upper division.
